The Author option in HTFY Publisher allows you to create and manage dedicated author profile pages. These pages are used to display basic information and an image about each content contributor, enhancing transparency and SEO for your website.

Purpose

Author pages are important for:

  • Showcasing the identity of content creators

  • Building reader trust and credibility

  • Improving E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authority, and Trustworthiness) for SEO

  • Creating structured data for Google’s author schema

How to Create or Edit an Author

  1. Go to the “Author” section in the HTFY Publisher dashboard.

  2. Click on “Add New Author” or choose an existing author to edit.

  3. Fill in the following details:

    • Author Name

    • Author Bio / Short Description

    • Upload Author Image (JPG, PNG, or WebP)

  4. Click Save to generate or update the author's profile page.

Author Page URL

Once added, an author page is automatically generated as a static HTML page (e.g., /author/) with SEO-ready structure.

Each author’s page includes:

  • Name and image

  • A brief description or bio

  • List of articles written by that author (if linked via article metadata)

Use Cases

  • Ideal for blogs with multiple writers

  • Great for improving search engine trustworthiness

  • Adds a professional touch to news and magazine-style sites

  • Helps in displaying author-specific archives

What is the purpose of the Author section in HTFY Publisher?

General

The Author section allows you to create a dedicated author profile page that includes the author’s name, bio, and image. This helps improve credibility, reader trust, and SEO by providing author-specific metadata.

Can I update an author’s details or image after creating the profile?

General
Yes. You can edit the author’s name, description, and profile photo at any time from the Author panel. Changes will reflect immediately on the static author page.
